Dedicating time for Speech, Language and Communication Needs in all our classrooms is good practice for everyone.
If you suspect a pupil may have SLCN needs, discuss this with your SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). It’s always worth enlisting the support of professionals (i.e. a speech therapist or specialist teacher) to support individuals.
