Dear DfE, I have remained silent on this issue, but I cannot keep my hands off the keyboard any longer! I am writing this article to support and showcase, why Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) must remain a prerequisite for teachers new to the classroom. You may choose to ignore this, but many teachers won’t.
